Premium Monstera Deliciosa Mint Variegata
The Crown Jewel of Aroid Collections Elevate your indoor jungle with the highly coveted Monstera Deliciosa Mint Variegata. While the Albo and Thai Constellation have paved the way for variegated monsteras, the Mint Variegata remains an elusive masterpiece in the rare plant community. Characterized by its striking, web-like marbling of light green, silvery-mint, and deep emerald, this specific mutation offers a mesmerizing, textured aesthetic that sets it apart from standard blocky variegation.
At Jardinier Indonesia, we source only the most stable, high-tier genetics for our export inventory. Each specimen features distinct fenestrations and exceptional color distribution, ensuring you receive a visually stunning centerpiece that matures beautifully. Whether you are a dedicated rare plant collector or a premium nursery looking to stock exclusive genetics, this Monstera Mint is a top-tier investment.

Comprehensive Care Guide: Monstera Deliciosa Mint Variegata
Variegated plants require specialized care to maintain their unique coloring and prevent leaf damage. The “mint” mutation contains more chlorophyll than stark white Albo variegation, making it slightly more robust, but it still demands an optimized environment to thrive.
Optimal Lighting To encourage continuous mint marbling without burning the delicate leaves, provide bright, indirect sunlight. Directly exposing the foliage to harsh afternoon sun will scorch the variegated sections. Conversely, too little light may cause the plant to revert to solid green. A spot near an East-facing window or under full-spectrum LED grow lights is ideal.
Watering Routine Water your Monstera Mint only when the top two inches of the soil feel completely dry. Overwatering is the leading cause of root rot in premium aroids. When watering, flush the pot thoroughly until water drains freely from the bottom, and never let the plant sit in standing water.
Soil & Substrate Requirements This epiphytic climber requires a chunky, highly well-draining aroid mix. We recommend a soil-less blend consisting of:
-
40% Orchid Bark
-
30% Coarse Perlite or Pumice
-
20% Premium Coco Coir
-
10% Horticultural Charcoal and Worm Castings This airy composition allows oxygen to reach the roots, mimicking its natural rainforest habitat.
Humidity & Temperature As a tropical specimen, the Monstera Mint thrives in warm, humid conditions. Maintain a consistent temperature between 65°F and 85°F (18°C – 29°C). Aim for ambient humidity levels of 60% to 80%. If your indoor environment is dry, especially during winter months, use a high-capacity humidifier or place the plant in a dedicated greenhouse cabinet.
Climbing Support In its natural habitat, the Monstera Deliciosa uses aerial roots to climb trees. To encourage larger leaves, stronger variegation, and double fenestrations (inner holes), provide a sturdy sphagnum moss pole or a coco coir trellis early in the plant’s life. Keeping the moss pole moist will encourage the aerial roots to attach and rapidly accelerate the plant’s maturity.
Post-Transit Acclimatization Upon arrival from international shipping, place your plant in a high-humidity, medium-light environment and avoid repotting for at least 14 to 21 days. Allow the roots to recover from the journey before introducing any liquid fertilizers.
